We released Intel® DHCAT 2.0 earlier this year. This newest version adds functionality and has some minor bug fixes. Here they are:
Support for Windows Media Player* 11 on Microsoft* Windows XP* and Media Center Edition* 2005.
Support for DivX* 6.6.x is now verified.
Support for Nero* MediaHome* 2.5.5 (bundled with Nero* 7) is verified in 2.0.2. Please see the updated Help documentation for detailed instructions on how to setup and test Nero* MediaHome 2.5.5 with Intel® DHCAT.
Added a check in the platform scanner to verify that MPEG2 audio decoder is present on the test system. DHCAT 2.0 requires a functional MPEG2 audio decoder to be present on the test system. Certain MPEG2 codecs, if not activated with a valid license, disable the audio functionality.
You can now minimize certain DHCAT UI screens.
Fixed an issue where in some DHCAT detailed reports, the Platform Capabilities Matrix image may be missing.
Fixed the Results Comparison Tool, which wasn't working correctly in version 2.0.1.
Added support for running Intel® DHCAT without rebooting the system during run (and in between iterations). This option is available only through the Command Line Interface.
To get this latest/greatest DHCAT update, just run AutoUpdate inside DHCAT 2.0 to download this patch and you're good to go! If you run into any issues, please post in the ICF forums.
